NECO GCE Form and Registration Guidelines 2022/2023 – The National Examination Council (NECO) is now selling the application forms for its 2022 November/December SSCE External (for candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates).The NECO GCE Form is now available online – see the price, subjects, registration details, and other helpful information you need to have a hitch-free registration below.

The National Examination Council (NECO) announced the commencement of the sales of application forms for the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination for External Candidates.

Is NECO GCE for 2022/2023 Form Out?

NECO GCE Form (2022/2023) is now available and fully active for registration since 17th August 2022 to 14th November 2022

Senior School Certificate Examination (external) is majorly for candidates not in the School system.

NECO GCE  Exam Centres:

The Examination centres for each state have been grouped into Neighbourhoods. Candidates should select a Neighbourhood within the state where they intend to sit for the examination.

How to Apply for the 2022 WAEC GCE. Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of Eighteen Thousand Naira (N18,000) only, at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent and obtain the Registration PIN and Information VCD: Access Bank Plc. Ecobank Plc.

NECO GCE Form and Registration Guidelines – General Information

  1. The Registration fee, once paid, is not refundable.
  2. The use of reputable cyber cafes is highly recommended as the Council will not be liable for registration errors committed by candidates. (A list of suggested cyber cafes nationwide where candidates can log on to register are available on the NECO website – Internet Service Operators – or are physically on display at our State offices nationwide.)
  3. Candidates should carefully follow the instructions on the online scratch card before registration.
  4. Candidates should study the Regulations and Syllabuses before registration.
  5. Smoking, cellular phones and other electronic communication devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
  6. All candidates should dress in mufti, and no one will be allowed entry into the examination hall with arms.
  7. Interested candidates who register more than once will have their entire results cancelled.
  8. Candidates who damage or lose their scratch cards before registration will have to purchase another card.
  9. Wearing of face mask in the exam hall is compulsory.
  10. Every candidate should bring into the examination hall or classroom his/her own hand sanitiser.

Candidates should note that Nigerian Languages (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba) include Literature components.
