Roles and Responsibilities
- The Director of Information Communication Technology is responsible to the Rector for the overall supervision of the internet of the institution, taking charge of the general administration of the Department, taking charge of Computer and data processing development implementation, Liaising with ICT Companies, Universities, Polytechnics, Regulatory and International Agencies, providing advice on the General communication network of the Institution and performing other duties as may be assigned.
- The Director of Information Communication Technology must be a person of high integrity who demonstrate transparency in public and private lives and likely to command the respect and loyalty of the staff of the Polytechnic.
- They must also be receptive to new ideas and willing to translate them into action in line with the visions and missions of the Polytechnic.

Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must possess B.Sc. / HND in Computer Science from a recognized Institution of higher learning and must have acquired at least twenty (20) years post-academic qualification cognate experience or a Master’s Degree, with Eighteen (18) years post-academic qualification cognate experience or a Doctorate Degree with Fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience.
- Evidence of community service will be an added advantage.
Appointment Criteria
- Applicants must not be more than 50 years of age (fresh appointment) at the time he/she assumes duty.
- Salary is CONTEDISS 15 while other terms and conditions of appointment are as provided by the conditions of service of the Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria and as may be determined from time by the Federal Government of Nigeria or the Governing Council of the Polytechnic.
